Why Choose Us?
Deep Observational Modalities
There are specific themes that will arise with those experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, grief, loss, bereavement, women’s mental health, women’s issues, and life transition. The holistic culturally inclusive approach incorporates working with individuals by observing common themes, underdeveloped coping skills, and unhealthy perspectives, in addition to trauma and inherited trauma from life experiences. By pinpointing specific patterns of thought or behaviors it will better serve clients leading to life satisfaction and improved mental health and wellness.
Intentional Treatment Services
A holistic perspective is used to address the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual wellbeing of each client. Positive implications for mental health must include attention to internalized social issues and outside influences such as stereotypes and other social concerns which negatively affect mental health and life experiences. Consideration is given to the intersectionality of Black women’s unique life experiences and its effect on life satisfaction and interpersonal relationships. Therefore, a multicultural and multimodal approach in working with adult female BIPOC clients is utilized to address the unique experience of each client. The way in which a person experiences their world and the people in it has implications for their journey in the counseling process

Frequently Asked Question
Psychotherapy is a general term for treating mental health challenges by talking with a professional who specializes in mental health. In this case the professional would be referred to as a licensed professional counselor. Psychotherapy is used synonymously with other terms you may have heard such as counseling, therapy, and talk therapy.
The psychotherapy process can support individuals in learning about their unique personal experience. This includes learning what your specific mental health concern may be named if applicable. This clarity will offer both the mental health professional and the client a clearer course of action to reduce the client’s complaints of negative symptoms by learning appropriate coping skills and strategies for wellness.
